An Introduction to Breathwork

Thursday, March 27th at 6pm

Join Ashley Kumar, a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over a decade of clinical experience, for a 45-minute course in optimal breathing techniques. You’ll learn to use breath to calm your nervous system, release tension, and restore balance in your body. Afterwards, use your new knowledge in a breath-focused mat class with Amanda Hager. Please bring a mat if you wish to participate.

Ashley Kumar is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over a decade of clinical experience. She works at Palm Health, a holistic wellness center where she helps her patients heal their whole bodies to live pain-free, active lives. Her passions lie in post-partum care, the correlation on posture and how it affects the diaphragm and pelvic floor, and diaphragmatic breathing for core strength and stress management.

Space is limited and payment by donation will be accepted. All proceeds go towards the Pilates Lab’s Continuing Education Fund for our instructors.
