We founded The Pilates Lab in 2019 with a singular mission: to create a classical Pilates studio that adhered to and upheld Mr. Pilates’s teaching and legacy.
We wanted the best for our neighbors, our city, and our industry… so we had to go big. The Pilates Lab is a classical studio unlike any other in St Louis. Our staff is comprised entirely of third-generation instructors, and our work is authentic, thoughtful, inclusive and customized. We teach Pilates exclusively on Gratz apparatus— the only equipment made exactly to Mr Pilates’s exact specifications and measurements, hand-built especially for our studio.
We believe in authenticity, both in the Pilates method and in who we are.
